This project undertook a study (including mapping of the Bow River floodplain and the use of maps to better assess developments within the Bow River catchment), incorporating 1:100 year flood level information into the Shire of Denmark’s Town Planning Scheme and more specifically for the future Structure Plan for the Bow River settlement. A report was provided that maps the strategically important NRM resources and threats from urban expansion and land use change, to ensure their protection and enhancement in the land use planning process. |
