This project will support Caring for our Country targets and will deliver on-ground support, communication and capacity building within the Wilson Inlet Catchment. Activities will address soil management issues such as wind erosion, invasive species and improve land manager knowledge and skills.
Funding will enable the employment of a Project Officer, provision of governance and on-ground works. The Project Officer will deliver on Caring for our Country targets, manage on-ground activities, provide community leadership, seek funding opportunities (in collaboration with South Coast Natural Resource Management Inc.) as they arise and provide support for the Wilson Inlet Catchment Committee Inc. (WICC). The position will work closely with South Coast Natural Resource Management Inc. (South Coast NRM Inc.) to ensure a strategic approach. |
