CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER South Coast Natural Resource Management Inc, the peak regional body for NRM on the South Coast of Western Australia, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the community-based organisation.  Reporting to and working closely with the Board, this dynamic and strategic role will have responsibility for: • Developing and overseeing the overall vision and strategy for South Coast NRM; • Leading the management team and staff and overseeing business structures and systems; • Identifying and developing new business opportunities; • Strengthening existing and forging new community, corporate and government partnerships and relationships; • Consulting with key stakeholders and community networks in developing projects for funding.  The successful candidate will be a highly skilled negotiator with experience engaging successfully with public, private and community sectors. You will need to be a strong and persuasive communicator who is comfortable as a media spokesperson and who can clearly articulate key messages and aims. Highly developed management, strategic planning and operational skills will be essential requirements of this role, together with an ability to affect change and foster a positive workplace culture. This is a rare opportunity to lead an established natural resource management organisation within a unique, diverse and world renowned landscape. A three year fixed term contract and attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate.
