This project is a collaboration between Restoring Connections, Department of Environment and Conservation and the Kinyannup Indigenous Consultancy. A site in the Fitzgerald River National Park has been identified as a former camping ground for Noongar stockman about 50 years ago. The site has now been registered as a place of significance and a cleanup has taken place. The success of this project is expected to lead to other identification projects on DEC-managed lands. |
